Margo DeMello

Margo DeMello is the Program Director for Human-Animal Studies at the Animals and Society Institute, and President and Executive Director of the House Rabbit Society. She holds a Ph.D. in cultural anthropology and lectures at Central New Mexico Community College. Her books include Bodies of Inscription: A Cultural History of the Modern Tattoo Community; Stories Rabbits Tell;, Low-Carb Vegetarian; and Why Animals Matter. She is also editor of Teaching the Animal.
