Our 2010 seminar at the Kimmel Center, NYU, was once again an enjoyable and enlightening occasion for gathering to absorb and share the fruits of spiritual-scientific inquiry and research results. With about 230 in attendance, this was our most successful annual seminar since we began them several years ago.

The speakers included Christopher Bamford, who introduced the topic of the Fifth Gospel and provided a brief overview of Rudolf Steiner's lectures, both in Oslo and in Berlin. (See our
Seminar Page, which contains introductions to our speakers and descriptions of their talks.)
Peter Selg also spoke movingly on the subject of his newest book,
Rudolf Steiner and the Fifth Gospel—the outer context of the lectures and the spiritual significance behind Steiner's need to present the material at that time.
Other speakers were Dr. Ross Rentea, who spoke on The Fifth Gospel as a source of healing in the world; Michael Gruber, who read his paper “Toward a Logos of the Soul”; and Kwan-Yuk Claire Sit, with her presentation of “The Fifth Gospel and the Eastern Middle Way.” Rachel Ross helped set the tone by helping those in attendance gather themselves through eurythmy.
Audio of talks from the 2010 SteinerBooks seminar are available just below. (Talks from past years are available on
another page.)
Those who were unable to attend the 2010 Spiritual Research Seminar will get a feeling for the spirit and substance of the event, while those who were present will benefit from hearing these excellent talks again.

We wish to thank the many attendees who purchased books at the seminar. It cannot be stressed enough how much this helps SteinerBooks accomplish its mission of publishing and making the work of Rudolf Steiner available in the world, including through our seminars and other public events.
Our rainy view during the weekend made for a cozy atmosphere inside.
And we send a huge thank you to the wonderful volunteers. They helped very much to make our work go smoothly (left to right):
Angela Bjelland (
Rudolf Steiner School, NYC),
Judith Soleil (
Rudolf Steiner Library, Ghent, NY), and
Noreen Moglia (
Sunbridge Institute Bookstore, Chestnut Ridge, NY).
Please send corrections and/or comments to Jens Jensen (
