One important aspect in the vision of the treatment is the accent that is placed on ‘doing.’ Living and working together in a community where more emphasis is placed on the healthy, rather than the ill aspect of the human being is central to the therapy as conceived by these therapeutic communities for persons with psychiatric problems.”
